Alone Together.

Capturing Connection.

"Alone Together was never about putting on a show. It was about creating a space where people could slow down, connect and experience something together. Alex & My Perfect Cousin understood that from day one, capturing not just what happened, but what it genuinely felt like to be there."

Integrated content production that captures the scale, atmosphere and emotion of immersive live experiences.

Alone Together was an immersive audiovisual experience created by Sound of Fractures in collaboration with CLYMA, Nica Albertson & Thoughts on Elvis and delivered with Creative Technology. Blending live music, large-scale projection, conversation and audience participation, the project transformed a performance venue into a space for reflection, connection and shared experience.

We were commissioned to deliver both photography and cinematic video, capturing the event in a way that reflected not just what happened, but what it felt like to be there. Working alongside the creative and AV teams, we produced a complete library of visual assets designed to support future promotion, editorial coverage and the ongoing development of the project.

The brief.

Unlike a traditional live performance, Alone Together wasn't built around a single stage or headline act. Audiences were invited to move freely through the space, engage with immersive projections, experience live performances, take part in guided conversations and connect with one another throughout the day.

The challenge was to create compelling visual content without disrupting the very atmosphere that made the experience unique.

For My Perfect Cousin, that meant balancing cinematic production values with an unobtrusive production approach. Every decision, from camera positions to crew movement, had to respect the audience's experience while ensuring no significant moments were missed.

"The real challenge isn't capturing what happened. It's preserving what people felt."

The Solution.

Working closely with Sound of Fractures, Creative Technology & the venue, we embedded our production team within the wider event from the earliest stages of planning.

Understanding the flow of the experience was as important as understanding the technical production. Live performances, changing projection environments, audience movement and moments of quiet reflection all demanded different approaches to filming and photography.

Rather than documenting the event from the outside, our team became part of the production itself. Multiple camera operators worked simultaneously across the venue, allowing us to capture both defining moments, audience response and the quieter interactions unfolding throughout the space.

Alongside wide architectural imagery that showcased the scale of the immersive environment, we focused on the human moments that defined the project. Audiences engaging with the installations. Conversations sparked by the environment. The emotional connection between performers, artwork and audiences.

The result was a visual record that communicates both the ambition of the production and the intimacy of the experience.

"Working with My Perfect Cousin felt like having another creative partner in the room. Alex & the team understood the sensitivity of the experience and somehow managed to capture its scale, emotion and intimacy without ever becoming part of the audience's experience."

Production.

Immersive events present a unique production challenge.

Lighting conditions change constantly. Audiences move unpredictably. Performances happen only once, and many of the most important moments occur away from the stage.

Our crew delivered simultaneous stills and motion coverage throughout the event, adapting continuously to changing environments while maintaining a discreet presence within the audience.

Working in close collaboration with Creative Technology ensured our production complemented the wider AV design, allowing projection, lighting, performance and content capture to work together seamlessly throughout the day.

This integrated approach enabled us to create a cohesive collection of photography and cinematic film without compromising the immersive nature of the event itself.

The Outcome.

The final content library delivers a comprehensive suite of still photography and cinematic video that extends the life of the project well beyond the live event.

The assets now support ongoing marketing, editorial coverage, social media, future event promotion and wider communications, while preserving the atmosphere and emotional depth that made Alone Together such a distinctive experience.

Our Approach.

The most successful live experiences are designed to be remembered. The most successful production partnerships ensure they're remembered by everyone else too.

Our integrated production approach allows us to work alongside artists, agencies, brands and technical production teams to create cinematic photography and motion that captures not just what happened, but why it mattered.

From immersive installations and live performance to brand activations and cultural events, we integrate seamlessly with creative and technical teams to deliver content that extends the life of ambitious experiences long after the audience has gone home.
