IHG® & Intercontinental® Brand & PR Team

London-based contemporary artist Alexander Hall was commissioned by IHG® (InterContinental Hotels Group) to create a stunning art installation, celebrating 200 InterContinental® hotels and resorts around the world.

The art installation is made from 200 champagne bottles individually hand-painted by Alexander in his bright and energetic drip-style.

Our job was to tell the story of the creative process involved in completing the installation through film and photography.

Working closely with one of our favourite agencies Way To Blue, we assisted in all aspects of the production from conception to completion, most notably we shared our extensive network to resolve the engineering challenges of the final structure.

Stretching the content.

Our specialism of delivering stills in addition to video content ensured a consistent and unified look and feel across all the content captured. This approach also saves time and money, as one team overseas all content creation.

This was the first time Alex had worked with filmmakers and we understood it would be critical to the project’s success that he felt comfortable and at ease in front of the camera and during interviews.

Our team really got to know Alex and spent as much time with him as possible so that when the camera’s came into the studio he was instantly at ease having us around.

We also enrolled Alex into a collaborative process for the videos narration. We conducted an informal interview at Alex’s home, and built on the themes identified during that interview to inform the interviews that followed. By remaining agile we were able to develop an interview framework that ensured the video’s final narration was authentic to the artist and aligned to the Intercontinental® brand.

For us, the client experience is one of the most critical components in creating these types of stories.

When engaging on your behalf with any third party, every aspect of what we do becomes an extension of your brand, as such it remains essential that this interaction is at once enjoyable, relaxed and essentially professional. In every aspect, our job is to make your job easier.
