A new lens on luxury.

“We worked closely with My Perfect Cousin to build a campaign that disrupted in a credible and creative way but also engaged a younger audience around the experience of luxury travel.

They worked alongside us at each step and were instrumental in the end result being a thorough success creatively and commercially.”

The brief.

How do you attract a new generation of clients to one of the world’s most exclusive experiences? By doing something truly different.

Burgess, a global leader in superyacht brokerage, approached us with a challenge: reposition their charter offering to connect with a younger audience, specifically, ultra high-net-worth individuals who value experience over ownership.

Luxury travel video production often sits in a traditionally conservative category, we needed to build a campaign that felt fresh, aspirational and emotionally rich. This wasn’t about glossy perfection. It was about creating something human, layered and memorable, something that would shift expectations without alienating legacy clients.

Working closely with Burgess’s in-house team, we aimed to show the world of chartering not as an unattainable fantasy, but as an elevated version of time well spent, with privacy, freedom and intimacy at its heart.

The integrated photography and film campaign would break category expectations to feel contemporary and credible, but still aligned with the brand’s heritage of discretion and high taste.

The Solution.

Our process began with deep research. We worked side by side with the Burgess creative team to explore what truly resonated with this new generation of clients. What emerged was a clear insight: for this group, it’s not about yachts, it’s about moments. Shared time, shared stories. Time together. Emotional connection. Space to disconnect and reconnect. Experiences that become memories.

That idea became the creative spine of the campaign guiding everything from script and casting to tone, styling and production design. We imagined a day through the lens of memory, dreamlike, poetic, not quite real. Hints of light, water and motion became visual cues, evoking the feeling of being at sea without ever being literal. It gave the work mystery, elegance and space for imagination. We envisioned the campaign as a series of memory fragments, echoing the way we recall life’s most vivid experiences.

Our strength in delivering unified film and photography productions came into full effect. We built stylised sets, contained worlds, that allowed us to shoot hero film scenes, cinematic stills, and social vignettes all under one creative vision. This gave Burgess a cohesive asset bank with visual consistency across every format—from large-screen hero film down to mobile-first content.

“Luxury stories aren’t built on spectacle alone. They’re about control, nuance, rhythm. Our job was to craft images with feeling, where light and frame do as much work as action or dialogue.”

Director Alexandre Carvalho brought sensitivity and precision to the storytelling. His intuitive sense of tone helped turn minimal scenes into something quietly magnetic. This was a project where craft mattered, across casting, wardrobe, styling, lighting and performance, and every detail played a part.

“Together with the Burgess in-house creative team, My Perfect Cousin worked tirelessly on this project. Of the wider team they brought in, the artistic direction of Alexandre Carvalho was particularly important in executing the vision.”

From pre-production through to post, we delivered the full production experience: casting, set builds, wardrobe styling, camera, lighting, direction, editing, sound, colour grade and final delivery. Oh, and yummy food.

The Results.

The campaign has been a creative and commercial success, helping Burgess reach a new audience without sacrificing brand integrity.

And for us, it stands as a clear demonstration of the value of our fully integrated film and photography production model. Because we delivered everything—from pre-production to final delivery—our team was able to maintain narrative and visual coherence across every asset. No duplication, no handoff confusion, no creative compromise.

'“This project proved what’s possible when creative ambition is matched by trust and clarity. For brands looking to do more with less friction, that kind of unified model isn’t just efficient, it’s transformative.”
